College Application & Admission Assistance

The MHS Counseling Department is committed to helping each student realize their post high school goals. Preparing for college entrance begins well before the start of high school through the development of a strong academic foundation, good study habits and organizational skills, and a desire to do their best. It is in 9th grade, however, that students really begin to pave their way in earnest. Each class they take, each activity they are involved in, can either move them closer to their goal of attending college or cause them to get off track. It is important to start out strong and continue moving forward. The following information is designed to assist students and parents as students begin their journey of discovery.
